In a significant initiative to promote a healthy and drug-free society through the practice of yoga, Master P.Krishnan Balaji’s Sree Pathanjali Maharishi Yogalayam Trust, Mangadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, successfully organized a remarkable Nova World Record event on the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 300 students from Little Flower Group of Institutions, Kundrathur, Tamil Nadu, India, who demonstrated their commitment to health and wellness by performing a series of yoga asanas, mudras, pranayama, and meditation practices continuously for 10 minutes.
Conducted under the inspiring themes “Yoga for Health, Harmony & Well-being” and “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the program emphasized the vital role of yoga in nurturing physical fitness, mental balance, emotional stability, and social responsibility. The initiative also aimed to create awareness about the importance of adopting a drug-free lifestyle and encouraging young people to embrace holistic well-being through yogic practices.
The students displayed exceptional discipline, focus, synchronization, and dedication throughout the performance, making the event a memorable celebration of the transformative power of yoga. Recognizing this outstanding accomplishment, the achievement was officially awarded a Nova World Record and entered into the Nova Book of Records under Record No. NWRPL26Y-3061, dated 18 June 2026.
