In a remarkable celebration of the 12th International Yoga Day, IMAYAM College of Yoga and Naturopathy, Kannanur, Thuraiyur, Tamil Nadu, achieved an extraordinary milestone that highlights the strength, discipline, and dedication of its students.
More than 50 first-year Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) students successfully performed 120 dynamic repetitions of Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Parvathasana (Mountain Pose) in a synchronized and continuous demonstration of yogic excellence. The event showcased exceptional physical stamina, respiratory control, mental concentration, coordination, and synchronization, reflecting the comprehensive training imparted by the institution.
The record attempt was organized as part of the International Yoga Day celebrations to promote awareness of the profound benefits of yoga in fostering physical fitness, mental well-being, and holistic health. The students’ outstanding performance served as a powerful example of yoga’s transformative impact on human health and its role in cultivating discipline, endurance, and inner balance.
This exceptional achievement has been officially recognized as a Nova World Record and has been entered into the Nova Book of Records under Record No. NWRPL26Y-3059, dated June 18, 2026.
