On the auspicious occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, Ravindra Bharathi Global School marked the celebration with a remarkable achievement that blended discipline, mindfulness, and social responsibility. The school organized a special Mobile Phone Addiction Awareness Event, highlighting the importance of mental focus and balanced digital habits among students.
As part of this meaningful initiative, 30 students of the school enthusiastically performed Baddha Konasana (Butterfly Pose) while blindfolded, demonstrating exceptional concentration, physical endurance, and inner calm. The students maintained the yogic posture continuously for 26 minutes and 26 seconds, symbolically aligning the duration with Republic Day and reinforcing the spirit of discipline and self-control.
The blindfolded yoga performance served as a powerful metaphor—encouraging students and the community to turn inward,
reduce dependency on mobile phones, and reconnect with mindfulness, health, and real-world awareness. The event beautifully conveyed the message that true freedom begins with self-discipline and conscious choices.
This extraordinary feat received official recognition from Nova World Records and has been proudly recorded in the Nova Book of Records under Record No. NWRPL260-3040, dated January 26, 2026. The recognition stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education and innovative awareness programs.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, educators, and yoga experts, whose presence inspired the young achievers. Through this milestone, Ravindra Bharathi Global School once again reaffirmed its mission to nurture responsible, focused, and socially conscious citizens.
This record-breaking achievement will remain a proud moment in the school’s history, inspiring students to embrace wellness, mindfulness, and purposeful living in the digital age.
