On the grand occasion of India’s 2023 Independence Day, a truly remarkable event unfolded – the Flexible India Challenge. This event was not just a celebration of the nation’s freedom, but also a showcase of the nation’s dedication to health and well-being through the medium of yoga. A multitude of individuals participated and demonstrated their remarkable yoga skills, highlighting the importance of staying physically and mentally fit.

A New Record: Longest Chakrasana Duration

Amidst the awe-inspiring displays of yoga mastery, one individual stood out prominently. With unwavering determination and exceptional physical prowess, this participant accomplished the impressive feat of holding the Chakrasana, or Wheel Pose, for an astonishing duration of 1 minute. Yoga4U: Participants and Trainers

An event of such magnitude doesn’t come to fruition without the support of dedicated participants and trainers. Yoga4U led the charge with a commendable showing of 14 students, guided by the expertise of Trainer Mrs. S. Roslin Kalaimathi.

  • Shri Indra Ganesan of Naturopathy and Yoga: 2 participants
  • GV Academy & Yoga: 6 participants
  • Ebenezer Marcus Matriculation Higher Secondary School: 2 participants, trained by Mrs. Mageshwari
  • Chennai High School: 1 participant, trained by Mrs. Mageshwari
  • Sharon Matriculation Higher Secondary School: 1 participant, trained by Mrs. Mageshwari
  • Pranat J. – Vels Vidhyalaya, Tenkasi: Trained by Mrs. Mageshwari
  • Agham Yoga: 1 participant
  • SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Science, Ujire: 2 participants
  • Krishna Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College, Trichy: 1 participant
