She has been conferred with the following Awards..Natya Kala Rathna , Inspiring Educationalist , nallaasiriyar viruthu ,honorary doctorate in Fine Arts, Excellence award -twice,sheroes award,best short film director award for Agni Devathai,sirandha saadhanai penmani award, women empowerment award and women of excellence award. So far she has trained more than 5000 girls with self defence education across Tamilnadu.
